Quadratic Equation III

The third piece of this series. I painted 2 of these robots in warm metallic colours and two in cool metallics. Copper and gold, silver and platinum. The background on these works has a pattern that basically created itself. I paint very wet and let the paint pool naturally. The effect is like spilled ink with darker and lighter patches depending on how much of it pooled in a certain area.
